The firm of PUMA - WERK , in Solingen, Germany has been making knives since 1769. They have produced some of the world's finest cutlery in those 230+ years for the collector, hunter, fisherman, outdoorsman (or woman), and camper! Their quality control is legendary, and is respected around the world. Each knife is Rockwell tested, the international standard for steel quality; and will have a test dot on the blade reverse. The knife is in excellent condition and has the original edge. It will be sent with a new ballistic nylon sheath. The blade is etched "280101, HANDMADE, PUMA BOOSTER, STAINLESS , and the PUMA logo. The scales, or handles, are machined from aircraft quality T-6 aluminum. It was ergonomically designed to feel at home in your hand, and even has ridges for your thumb. This knife is shaving sharp, and locks open and closed like a bank vault. This model, the 280101, has a removable, non-reflective pocket clip for carrying ease. Since PUMA sold the patent for this knife, they will make no more. So when these are gone, they're gone forever!
