You are bidding on an extremely rare Beatles' album. It is the "Let It Be" UK box set. I purchased this English import new, in 1970 at a record store in San Francisco. It has all the parts---the black cardboard tray, the white inner sleeve, the full color record sleeve, the book, the outer packaging, and the vinyl album itself. The original UK box set is highly sought after by collectors. The box set, an elaborately packaged set containing the LP and a book filled with notes and photos from the recording session and movie, is today very hard to find. The UK presses had a single sleeve with no gatefold, and the early copies had a red apple logo on the back cover. The complete box set contains the outer cover, the inner tray (which held the book in place), the book and the LP (which had the red logo on the back). The book , which contains hundreds of photos and notes from the film, was never sold separately and were only ever available in the box set. The box set was never re-issued and the only sets out t today are the original sets bought back in early 1970. I am not an expert in rating records, so I will be as descriptive as possible. The outside packaging has a small tape mark on the left and right in the middle of each side, t is definite wear on the outside packaging. The black cardboard tray has a tear on the lower left. The
