This rare amber 8" tall bitters is in near mint condition,with no wear or cracks, only a thin buffed chip on the lip. Hardly noticeable. Not a dug bottle. It is vertically embossed boldly on a recessed front panel - ROTHERY'S BITTERS - THE GREAT ENGLISH TONIC - CHICAGO, U.S.A. - The bottle is BIM "Blown In Mold" and dates to the 1880's. The bottle is listed in the Bitters Book R-105 RARE. No reserve and buyer pays $6.00 shipping, insur is extra.
