This is a rare Russian m1917 / Finnish m17 helmet . The helmet was made in the Russian TSAR order . The helmet was first used by the Red guard and later in the white army . The helmet is black in colour with a surface top coat of Finnish Army green paint w it has been used in ww2 by the Finnish army / Homeguard . T is Helsinki city badge on the front from its use by a unit from this area. The helmet is compete with liner and chin strap , T is no dents on the helmet and t is some storage marks w the helmet has been in a stack ,i have left as it came to me as its part of the helmets history .
