You are bidding on a guaranteed authentic hand painted set of 24 antique marbles that are very unique. The 20 marbles with the designs on them were found while taking brick from an old brick and ceramic factory in Robins, Scott County Tennessee. The factory was in business from 1886-1937 so the age of the marbles are from that time period. All of these marbles have a picture taken of each side. These are very unique in that the 20 marbles with designs on them are GLAZED ceramic marbles. The 2 marbles with the star on them and the 2 plain ones are stone marbles of the Civil War ERA, circa 1865. These marbles were found by a contractor in Atlanta, GA while preparing for the 1996 Olympics. They may have been used as the shooter or taw.
