Up for auction is this rare Antique Cookie Jar from the 1950's, and fresh from a local Beloit Estate Auction This vintage antique cookie jar is in wonderful condition with no cracks, chips or repairs. The cookie jar has minor glaze crazing from years of use. The bottom is unmarked, but I was told this was made by Royal Haeger in 1953.... I am no expert and have not located it in any reference book. The unique cookie jar measures 11 1/4" to the top of the siamese cat, 10 3/4" wide and 5" deep. The item has a tag attached at the auction that stated Cat at Fish Bowl Cookie Jar- 1953 - Royal Haeger Pottery. The main jar is in the shape of a Fish Bowl and the lid has a ish for a finial. Standing next to the fish bowl cookie jar is a detail glaze siamese cat with detailed blue eyes. Please look at my other listings this week as I have several other lamp, antiques, vintage and depression glass. I do combine items for shipping to save postage fees. Because of rising packing supply costs, I have a under $1 handling fee to help defray the cost and ensure safe delivery. My auctions are never ended early for Ebay Offers. I do print online labels, which will show the actual postage charge for shipping. All my items are antiques and vintage which are not NEW and UNUSED. Most items have normal wear and or slight discoloration from years being exposed to use. PlEASE DO NOT EXPECT BRAND SPANKING NEW ITEMS. I strive to accurately list with descriptions that contains and damage. Most depresssion and glass has flaws and imperfection in the glass from manufacturing, of which due to the number of listings I can not note all flaws. We have met many nice friends, co-sellers, and repeat customers from Ebay... as with our feedback shows we try to satisfy all. T is the one bad apple in the bushel that can not be please.
