Up for offers now with NO RESERVE and a Low starting bid is a fancy one quart milk bottle from southeast Virginia . It is embossed in a plate mold âeoe MORNING / STAR / DAIRY / DENBIGH, / VA.âe. The base is embossed with a large âeoeM.S.D.âe. I had never heard of Denbigh , VA , but found it is a small area, halfway between Newport News and Williamsburg , VA. It was located on the north shore of the James River, just east of Fort Eustis and Mulberry Island , and just south around the James River bend from the original Jamestown , VA settlement. The bottle is intact, but has an overall exterior ground wear, and the lip is very rough, having a shallow 3/8âe chip on the side, two roughly 1âe(tm) long cracks or bruises. I have no idea if this is a rare or common bottle, probably somew in between. I only have one of them, and it is available for your bids.
