Offered in todays Auction is this very unusual Victorian Picture Frame. It is made of Wood, Wicker and Gesso. This is a very rare frame with a wonderful decorative look. It has a white background with fancy gilt gesso highlights all around the Frame. It also has four wicker inserts. The Frame is holding a very appealing pastel of a landscape. It shows a lake with islands and a Sailboat. T are mountains in the background. It is signed lower left M DeGratt or DeGraff. The Frame is in great condition with one chip on the top of the left corner. This is barely visible when it is hanging on the wall. Overall a wonderful piece of Victoriana in great condition. It measures 21 1/4" by 34 1/2". The picture size would be 11" by 24". Check our other Auctions for Victorian Furniture and Architectural Elements. Buyer pays actual shipping and insurance.
