Up for auction is a RARE Vintage Bell System Black Princess Telephone Phone. It is in VERY GOOD condition and I became its owner when the Baby Bells split from AT&T in 1983, and I was an employee of Northwestern Bell.This phone is also in GREAT working condition and can place and receive calls. The phone actually has a bell and rings, with an adjustable volume - Loud, Soft or ringer can be turned off. T are very few minor scratches in the plastic shell of the phone, and t are no chips or breaks in the plastic.This phone does NOT light up - thinking it might be the bulb, I ordered (and will include) 2 new bulbs for this phone. One will be in the phone and the other new bulb will be included in this package. In order to light up the dial, you will need to get a transformer kit. I do want to point out that I tested this phone in my home and it works perfectly, HOWEVER, on one of my phone lines I could not break dial-tone. When I reversed the TIP and RING wiring to the touch-tone dial inside the phone, the problem was solved.
