Signed: "Sterling Silver - Made in Siam"HISTORY GOES: THIS SET CAME FROM HELEN'S ANTIQUES SPECIALIZING IN ESTATES IN OKLAHOMA.HELEN KNEW THE LADY THIS BELONGED TO. THE 88 YEAR OLD LADY SOLD IT TO HELEN WHEN SHE WENT TO THE NURSING HOME. THE LADY WAS A WORLD TRAVELER OR HER HUSBAND MAY HAVE SENT HER THIS SET WHEN HE WAS IN SIAM DURING WWII--HELEN COULD NOT QUITE REMEMBER THE STORY---BUT SHE CERTAINLY KNEW THE ELDERLY LADY ALL OF HER LIFE IN LAWTON OKLAHOMA AND GOT THE SET FROM HER. The set is absolute stunning--almost looks like gold enamel--I have no way of knowing. But, assuredly it is the rare yellow golden color enamel. Set is MINT with only a tad of patina on the earrings. I will NOT clean it. It doesn't need it. Enamel is MINT. NO chips, cracks. Sterling silver sparkles/shines. The silver dancing ladies are exquisite and shiny---t is no tarnishing on the dancing ladies on either pieces. Earring photo seems to show dark spot on the enamel--this is not on the set..rather is the photo glare. Earrings are fish hook style and swing in the air--2
