Up for auction is a vintage 1890's tin egg and cream beater. This egg beater is in mint unused condition. This egg beater works by turning the handle on the side and t are 4 three wire whips on the inside that turn like a ferris wheel. This item had a newspaper article inside it when I purchased it. The article is from May 26, 1973 Tri State Trader that says this egg beater origionally sold for $1.25 in the late 1890's, a very expensive piece for back then. I will include this article for the winner of the auction. If you are a collector of kitchen items this would be a nice addition to any collection. This item is 9 1/2 inches tall and 8 inches wide and 4 1/4 deep not measuring the handle. please contact m,e with any questions.
