"Trifari" with the Large Crown Above the "T", and also Stamped... "Pat. Pend." , Designed by Alfred Philippe for Trifari, the patent information comes back to Des. Pat. No. 125,352. Circa Feb. 18th, 1941. (see picture of the patent provided). We have never had this particular brooch by Trifari before, or have we seen it sell before. Depicting a Fabulous WWII Patriotic Anchor Brooch that is done on rhodium plated base metal with Metallic Enamel in Red & Blue, having Brilliant white Pave` rhinestones throughout for accents, then prong set and doming forward are Fantastic Glass cabochons in colors of Red, Teal Green, and Sapphire Blue, and are un-foiled, and open in the Back. Measures 2.25 inches tall. It is Beautiful & Unique. Condition... T is rhodium loss and some roughness to the back of the pin, also t are some rough blemishes to the glass Cabochons on the blue & red one, easy fix if desired. The enamel work is in Very Good condition with only minor loss to the end of the rope that twists around the Anchor, also easy touch up if desired. Otherwise it is in Very Good Vintage Condition with no Dead or missing stones. Again this is a very difficult pin to find.
