As noted California pottery authority Jack Chipman writes in his "Collector's Encyclopedia of California Pottery Second Edition", "Will-George was in the forefront of the flamingo trend and in terms of product excellence, was never outdone." Produced in the 1940's, these graceful, exquisitely crafted flamingos capture the beauty of this 40's and 50's icon like no other artist or craftsman ever has. Will-George officially began as a company in 1934 and was liquidated in 1956. This elegant, naturalistic figurine is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs . It measures 9.5" tall and is signed on the bottom "Will-George". You are only bidding on the single flamingo described above.
