Just in Time for the Holidays! WWII Brass Nautical Running Lights Please look at all of the photographs. I am selling these lights for the family of a man who was in the Merchant Marines during WWII. He had removed these from his ship and took them, just before leaving the service in 1945 (hope they didn't hit anything). Years later he built them into wooden shelf-like holders so he could mount them on the wall of his den, w they remained for many years, until they were removed and given to me to list on eBay.The wooden devices are somewhat crude, but they served the purpose. The lamps can easily be removed from the wooden holders, but I will leave that to the next owner, these will be shipped just the way you see them in the photos.The wiring is also a little crude, cheap cords and clip on plugs. And I could have cleaned them a little better before taking the photos. The brass could use a little elbow grease, but again, it's up to the the next owner, who may prefer the original undisturbed patina.They are in excellent condition. The green glass has some very minor small chipping in the top ridge (only), and the red glass is perfect. The brass lamps are 5-3/4 inches tall, and about 4 inches on the sides (from the corner of the wooden holders). Each of these weighs about 5-6 Lbs.
