Artist : Ravel Conductor: Pierre Monteux Title: Daphnis Et Chloe Label / Cat: DeccaSXL 2164 ( UK 1st ORIG pressing) stereo WBg Year: 1959 Vinyl Condition: VG Sleeve Condition: Good Labels: EX+ Inner: EX+ Matrix Numbers: ZAL-4504-5D & ZAL-4505-7D RARE UK original 1st pressing LP by Ravel titled "Daphnis Et Chloe". Conducted by Pierre Monteux. Wide Band grooved, ED1 with "original recording by" text on label at the 10 o'clock. VINYL - Both sides of the record are in VG condition. Could only see a couple of light superficial surface marks (nothing serious). There is a little light surface noise and the odd pop and Of course there are NO Skips, NO Jumps, NO Sticking, NO Warping. Still has that lovely glossy shine to vinyl. SLEEVE - The sleeve is in Good condition. Tiny trace of spine wear (text is all readable), tiny trace of edge wear. There are a couple of creases and some discolouration (this looks darker in photo then it actually is). There is also a small tear on rear, but this has been neatly repaired from the inside with a small piece of card to reinforce it and stop further damage (not noticeable from the outside). NO splits. NO writing, pen marks or Graffiti. LABELS - The labels are in EX+ condition. Tiny trace of spindle marks, NO Writing, pen marks or Graffiti. INNER – The inner is in EX+ condition.
