This piece is often described as “Dartington, designed by Frank Thrower”, but it is not! I have never seen it in any Dartington book or brochure and at first I thought that it was were more likely to be by Littala in Finland. However, I have since found that it is in fact from the ‘Flair’ range made by Ravenhead in the 70s. Described originally as a “Table piece/Ornament”, it it can be used as a vase or even better as a candle holder. It stands 6 ½ “ high and weighs a substantial 775g and is in brilliant undamaged and unmarked condition. I am listing separately four fruit or ice-cream bowls from the same range which compliment this item perfectly. We always offer a full refund on any item that is not as described or damaged in the post and combine postage for multiple items so that your postal costs are minimised. We also do not add on a bit for ‘postage and packing’ we only charge the exact postage.
