RAY "BOOM BOOM" MANCINI !!! ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR BOXERS IN HISTORY !!! RED TRUNKS MODELED AFTER BOOM BOOM'S FIGHT WITH MACHO CAMACHO !! He was given the nickname Boom Boom after his father Lenny "Boom Boom" Mancini who laid the foundation for his son's career. His whirlwind punching style caught the eyes of network executives at several American television networks, and he became a regular on their sports programming. He was the reigning lightweight champion of the world throughout much of the 1980s. Mancini retired officially in 1993, leaving a record of 29-5 with 23 knockouts and a very touching and inspiring story as a brave world champion who won the title for his family, as well as for himself. These trunks are red with green and white trim. They are modeled after Boom Boom's fight with Hector "Macho" Camacho. This piece comes authenticated by Authentic Signings, Inc. and comes with a photo of "Boom Boom" holding the piece. 3 tamper resistant are holograms affixed to each item.
