We have had this lovely early example of Ray Finch's stoneware work for a number of years. A large jar from the 70's measuring 8 3/4" tall and 3 /14 " at the top. Salt glazed form using an incised rouletted and glaze trailed decoration. Superb condition with no cracks, chips or restoration. Clearly marked with the Winchcombe and Ray Finch dot.The pictures do not do justice to the colours on both sides of this bottle/jar- a lovely collectors piece. Please see my other lines which we are selling from our collection.
