RCA 1949 Drive In Vintage Original Drive-In Movie Speakers & JunctionBox This is a pair of nice used original drive-in speakers in complete and good (or better) used condition. Cast aluminum housings are solid and each has previously been painted although the white is a different shade on each speaker. There are nocracks or dents just normal wear and tear for their vintage. Ideal pair for refinishing to your own specs. This RCA speaker design was first introduced in 1949. The vertical ribbing of 1948 was removed and the RCA logo appears above the horizontal grill on the lozenge style cast aluminum speaker. These are original drive-in speakers which have not been tested for sound, I’m sure most people will opt to install upgraded speakers anyway. The junction box is solid and has no cracks or flaws. I'm not sure either of the manufacturer or about the internals and their working condition. While this specific sale is for a complete set of speakers and jbox, I have more original sets and other unique and individual speakers which allow you to create a custom pair or find an additional remote.
