RCA Portable Transcription Turntable 16" Tonearm MI4829 Buyers are welcome to purchase just the tonearm or the entire turntable. Your bid is for the entire assembly (complete turntable w/ tone arm, case, motor, and etc). I will discard whatever you don't wish to have shipped. Nice looking RCA portable turntable. Vintage: early to mid 50's. Uses a 16" transcription style tonearm. Powered by a HUGE "Flyer Electric Motor" model 2DG4. Platter is direct drive and spins at 78 & 33 RPM with pitch control. Condition: Motor and platter spin. Power switch had to be 'jiggled' a few times to get it to turn on. Tonearm appears to be in good condition and includes a non-working mono crystal cartridge. outer Tolex covered case shows some wear but in good conditon for its age. Shipping: Buyer pays shipping cost. Estimated weight for shipping the entire unit is 35#. Shipping weight for the tonearm is 2#.
