These are rare now days often found with worn dull weathered bakelite that has lost its gloss over the years but not this one ,the condition of the surface is excellent for its age with only a few tiny hair scratches on the bottom of the case only thats it! This is another Absolutely Gorgeous radio with a large sweeping stunning SILVER & BLACK foil deco dial with original untouched brass dial pointer,with bright warm illumination that is stunning to look at!~Still retains the partial original Factory label inside the cabinet, All original nipper bakelite deco knobs,perfect factory dial cover and the rear cover is excellent original condition fits tight with original hardware ,make no mistake this is a prefect example of a factory pristine original near 70 year old highly collectible compact RCA iconic gem that has endless apeal among avid collectors,almost impossible to find in this condition these days. This stunning set was first mfg. c-1947! just after ww11 following the American prewar "Nipper" 1X model that is more common and slightly smaller than this hard to find master nipper from Rca of Canada!~This is a Very Compact Deco radio for its time that exhibits no real issues noted on the cabinet for this near 80 year vintage! This is one of many RCA models produced in two colors,Ivory& Walnut! This model was always quite popular with collectors, but lately becoming very scarce and more saught after these days in this gorgeous looking & working condition!~The chassis is very clean with no surface rust,common to this vintage.The power cord has been replaced in the interest of safety with a period style deco plug end, along with a complete restored superior sounding 5 tube chassis and a very clean original "non coated" perfect condition speaker cone and the loop antenna support back is factory mint,unlike many seen with sloppy repairs!~This radio is in great working condition with strong mellow static free clean BIG sounding audio all across the dial, a very strong player, just solid clean audio and plays as good as it looks!
