Up for auction is this real hornets nest straight from nature. This nest is 14 inches long and 30 inches in circumference around the largest middle part. This nest was found in the Vermilion County Illinois early this year along with a larger hornets nest which I am also offering for sale at this time in another auction. This nest still has part of the branch running thru it that it was attached to. The nest is dried out now from hanging in my garage for awhile. It has some loose areas on it as can be seen in my photo's. But over all it is in nice condition and will make a great decorating piece once it has be coated with shellac. Great example of the engineering skills of bees in the wild. International bidders please contact seller for shipping and insurance rates before bidding.
