This is a real SDS (special defense system) IOTV Body Armor Vest manufactured by SPECIALTY DEFENSE . It is used but in excellent condition . It was a little dirty but I have cleaned it up and will clean it more before it gets shipped out. No holes or rips in it. It does not come with the extra elastic band that is supposed to help with your shoulders because I took them off when I used it because they dont work and just get it the way and now I cant find them. The purpose of the extra elastic band was to help take weight off your shoulders but it does not work. The vest still works perfectly fine because it has the velcro straps which is what you are actually supposed to use anyways. It comes with all BALLISTIC INSERTS (that includes in the neck pieces front and back vest pieces, lower back piece, and also the groin protector (nut guard) piece if you decide you want that piece. The ballistic pieces can stop fragmentation and 9mm machine gun or lesser threat. THIS IS NOT A REPLICA. THIS IS THE REAL THING . The IOTV comes with the quick release application which is located on the chest right under the square velcro piece. This means all you do it pull it and the vest falls right off of you in case of emergency such as being caught on fire or needing to run faster and maneuver faster. The vest and all pieces are a large but it is adjustable so it can fit a medium sized person (especially if you are going to have plates) and could probably fit an XL person. This lot also comes with the lower back piece which also has ballistic insert . This is a very rare item to find because it is army issue. Please don't pass up this opportunity because it could be your last for a long time. The price of just the vest alone is $818.00 just to show how good of a deal this is. I have paperwork showing it is worth this much. If you would like the flap also then send me an email letting me know. The Nut guard is $35.00 added on to the final price if you want it.
