PAIR OF REAL RUBY BEADS These small ruby beads have been blessed and empowered at the Boudhanath Buddhist Temple in Kathmandu Nepal (pictures below) These small ruby beads were sourced at the 4th KHAMPA FESTIVAL in KANGDING in 2004. BEAD 1: Diameter : 15.6 mm. Thickness 8.37 mm BEAD 2: Diameter : 14.3 mm. Thickness 8.15 mm TOTAL Weight: 42 cts. Please Note: This is NOT a perfect pair of exact same size beads. This is very close to the same size beads. Please Note: These are real RUBY beads. We made a donation for these bead in 2004 at the Khampa festival in Kandging. Please look at the pictures. This is a pair of small real ruby beads. These beads are very popular in Tibet and areas close by. Beads such as these are traded to be a "Part of the religious and cultural lives of the inhabitants of Ladakh, Tibet, Nepal and Bhutan." This is a pair of real ruby beads (20 to 40 years old) they have been heat treated. Tibetan's string a few of these ruby beads with other prized beads and sometimes use one ruby bead on a sacred Mala. Sometimes you see a Dzi bead strung with them.
