She has dark brown straight hair and gorgeous wide-open blue eyes. Because she is a bigger baby, she is absolutely adorable to cuddle - soft, heavy, and when you pick her up she seems to just look into your eyes. When I displayed baby Olivia at the last doll show, so many people commented on how lovely she was to hold and cuddle. She has lovely hands and feet, and gorgeous chubby baby legs.Olivia has jointed three-quarter arms and legs and a custom-made soft cloth body. Her realistic 'living' skin tone has been created using a variety of techniques and applying over twenty transparent layers to give the effect of subtle veining and mottling to match a baby's complexion. When showing dolls at Doll Shows I often get complimentary comments about the realism of my babies' skin tones, and how real the vinyl feels (I always finish off with a matte varnish which leaves a skin-like texture). Genesis heat set paints have been used which are permanent and will not fade or go shiny with handling, and are completely non-toxic.Please scroll through all the photographs I have taken of Olivia. If so you may want to take her home and cuddle her forever.Baby Olivia's body is soft and cuddly and has been carefully weighted with high quality glass beads and filled with tender touch baby fat and the softest fibre so he feels just like a real baby. She weighs 7 lbs 9 oz and when you pick her up she feels just like a real baby, soft, cuddly with perfectly weighted proportions. No sand has been used which means Olivia is safe to travel all over the world.PLEASE NOTE : Olivia is a collectable baby doll, she not intended for small children. She isn't made for play but is to be held as you would a real baby. Her head will need supporting just like a real baby.Baby Olivia's gorgeous liquid eyes are designer glass eyes, in a dark blue colour. Her eyebrows are hand-painted. Olivia's dark brown hair is short and is made from fine mohair, which has been micro rooted by hand, spending many hours over it. Care has been taken to the shape and direction of each strand to form a realistic swirl at the crown. The hair is very short and straight and so is very easy to manage, and can be sprayed with water and restyled gently. A tiny magnet has been inserted behind Olivia's mouth which will hold the dummy [pacifier] in place - the dummy will come home with her.
