This is an original New-Old-Stock body badge issued by Buick for their first Reatta models back in 1987 for the brand new 1988 Reattas. This measures about 2-1/2" in diameter, and was only put on the very first limited edition Reattas sent to a "Selection of Sixty" Buick dealerships across the land. THIS LOOKS EVEN BETTER THAN THE PICTURES. These cars were built at the Reatta Craft Center in Lansing by specially trained UAW members. Condition of the badge is excellent, but not mint perfect. Factory original items like this were made for mass production, not perfect for show-car use. It is made of metal and the pins on the back prove this was never installed on a car. People who know Reattas know how rare and special this badge is. See my other auctions for MANY other Olds, Buick and Pontiac nameplates, though NONE are as special as this one!
