Overall Clean with repainted in areas and interior.MODEL , portable (suitcase) style (very large and heavy, not-so-portable) record player contains 3 speakers, record changer and huge, POWERFUL multi-tube amp.Measures approx. 21" W x 24" D x 10" H. The vintage Danish pencil legs add about 16" to height. Total height with base is about 26" tall. Each of the removable extension speakers measures approx. 6-1/2"W x 6-1/2"H x 5 "DThere are a total of 3 powerful speakers in this unit. New electrolytic power filter capacitors have been installed to insure many more years of enjoyment of this item. All old wax tubular capacitors replaced with new ceramic capacitors. All resistors tested and out of tolerance resistors replaced. Controls: Volume, Bass, Treble, Balance and on-off switch, cleaned and lubricated.MECHANISM AND MOTOR:Has a Voice of Music, V-M, 4 speed, RECORD CHANGER with stereo cartridge and stylus. Motor rebuilt, completely disassembled, cleaned, lubricated with turbine oil and reassembled. New rubber motor mounts have been installed to replaced the old aged ones. Mechanism completely disassembled, cleaned, lubricated and reassembled to function like new. All moving parts calibrated to manufacturers specifications. 4 speed automatic transmission cleaned and lubricated: 16, 33-1/3, 45 and 78 RPM A new (NOS) idler wheel installed to ensure proper speed and automatic functions.AUDIO PICKUPTone arm has original factory gold finish with flip-over cartridge. It has been completely cleaned and polished to look the way it does in listing photos. The cartridge has been replaced with a NOS STEREO CARTIDGE with a NEW STEREO stylus. (Astatic TO8) Tracking has been adjusted to maintain cartridge optimal tracking pressure to protect your records while optimizing the cartridge tracking performance.STANDARD FEATURES:Case retains its original factory hinges, clasps, and handle. Original cabinet screws, hinges, hardware are brass finished and have had most of the tarnish removed and polished to a clean shine. Every visible removable screw was replaced or removed, cleaned, polished and reinstalled. All claps, hinges, hardware in clean, and excellent working condition. Comes with a NOS automatic V-M 45 spindle adapter as shown in listing photos. Large platter maintains its original black colored platter mat that has been cleaned to look real nice. Spindle is in excellent condition. It has been cleaned and polished to shine like new. Cabinet has been cleaned, repainted in areas and polished. Speaker original cloth grills have been cleaned up to maintain the original vintage appearance. Record player has received a NEW, brown, colored, safe, polarized, approx. 8ft long, Power cord. All knobs removed, cleaned, polished and reinstalled. The extension speakers are easily removable so they can be separated from main unit for STEREO channel separation. The connecting speaker wires are each about 8-10 feet long. Comes with 4, used, vintage, wooden Danish pencil legs that have been painted gold. All 4, original swivel feet are in place and working as they should. Legs can be unscrewed and removed or reinstalled. Can use as a table top model without legs. Player has 4 rubber / plastic feet to protect furniture when legs removed.It is my passion to bring you the very finest restoration, products and service I can. In the Navy I went to school, studied and worked as an Aviation Electrician repairing and servicing military aircraft. Now that I'm retired, I still love to tinker with electronic and mechanical devices. If the item is old and moves, engages, lights up, or makes sound, I am driven to dismantle, clean, readjust and rebuild the device. I have several radios, record players, amplifiers, and color wheels that I will be restoring over the next several years. My goal is to make these old, vintage devices function like new again. They sure don't make-em like they used to.
