This is a gorgeous, medium- weight silk that feels ever so lush. It is a crinkled matte silk...ie chirimen. Love the red on black. The color and design are printed on. Stunning stuff. You are bidding on 14"x52" Different monitors vary slightly so the color in the picture may be slightly different from that of the photo. This picture was taken with flash. Shipping from Japan to America, Europe and Oceania airmail will cost US$4.00. We have had to raise our shipping prices. I hate to do it but we pay in yen and the dollar has dropped to 89yen to the dollar (at least that is what we get from paypal) we promise to lower it again when the dollar gets stronger. We will do what we can to combine shipping for multiple purchases but you MUST contactus for combined shipping as it is not automatic.We try to ship everyday except on weekends and national holidays. Our fabric comes from new and used Japanese kimono and yukata. The fabric has been picked but the threads have not been removed and we DO NOT iron.
