PRICE REDUCED. RARE ORIGINAL RED GROOMS ETCHING " RUDY" 1976 MEASURING 3 3/4" x 4 7/8" [IMAGE SIZE]. SIGNED WITH FULL SIGNATURE BY THE ARTIST WITH FULL SIGNATURE, "RED GROOMS", NUMBERED "1/20", DATED "76" AND TITLED "RUDY". This exceptional etching, on embossed paper, is in fine condition and one of the scarcest of all of the Artist Etchings executed by Grooms. Rudy Burckhardt, artist, photographer, filmmaker, painter, writer and cultural icon was a close friend and collaborator of Grooms. Burckhardt worked with Grooms on a film about Grooms and his work. They were close friends until Rudy decided to end his life by walking in to a pond behind his home in Searsmont, Maine on August 1, 1999.
