Red Janice Handled Plate with Silver Overlay ~Stunning Ruby Janice Handled Plate~ ~Silver overlay with stylized flowers and leaves features a 40th Anniversary banner; silver at scalloped rim; fancy curlicue handles; moulded "V" pattern on underside; cut and polished foot; bright, true ruby red color; issued as #4529~ ~Unmarked; Line 4500 by New Martinsville Glass Co., ca. 1926-1944~ ~Measures 11 ¼" across top, excluding handles~ ~Excellent Condition: near mint, with no cracks, nicks or chips~ This is a spectacular plate, and an appropriate 40th anniversary gift, as traditionally, the 40th is celebrated with ruby colored items.
