Here's a beautiful ruby red footed bowl or compote which was made by the Paden City Glass Company of Paden City, West Virginia. This is Paden City's No. 221 pattern, called "Maya"; according to my reference, it was mainly produced in the 1940's.The piece is about 7" across the bowl, about 4" high at the rim, and the foot is about 3-1/2" in diameter. It's in nice shape, with no nicks, chips, flakes, or fleabites. Nice little piece, pretty color, and a nice pattern you don't see a whole lot of; I'm drowning in old glassware as it is (and just bought a whole lot more today, including this), so this thing needs a new home ASAP.Any questions, feel free to email, and I'll answer as best I can. Thanks for looking, and be sure to check out my other auctions!!
