In commemoration of the first annual National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, the Native CBA Network* proudly presents this special offer. In exchange for a minimum donation, you will receive a limited edition Pendleton blanket bearing cultural designs from American Indian, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian artists. These beautiful blankets were produced specifically for this occasion and are limited in number. Take advantage of this offer and make your donation today! About the Blankets: The blanket incorporates designs and symbols reflecting the cultures of American Indians, Alaska Natives and Native Hawaiians. The edges include a storm pattern, a series of triangles in red and black that represents mountains and dark clouds. Moving inward, the design integrates the traditional symbol of the four directions and the red ribbon, the international symbol for AIDS awareness. The red ribbon has been unfurled to symbolize the need to open up dialogue about HIV/AIDS and the stigma that exist. The center of the blanket portrays the Circle of Life, bordered by protective arrowheads and Native Hawaiian plants. The blanket measures 64" x 80" and is composed of 82% pure virgin wool and 18% cotton. If you have any questions about the blankets or would like to know more about this project, please feel free to email us at . Donation Options read more
