I recently purchased this knife at a local house sale.It is marked on the blade with Rostfrei, which translates to rust free (I think). Any marks or globs on the blade are a rust protection that my husband puts on his knifes to make sure that finger prints to not marr the metal, for added assurance!The lock back knife is 8" closed and 14 7/8" when fully opened. The scales are a beautiful deep, pearly red, plactic material. The scales have a little bit of scuffing. The blade appears to have never been used. This is a really nice looking knife to add to anyones collection!
