According to the Trouser Press Guide to Records , “Los Angeles quartet Red Temple Spirits skillfully mix post-punk influences—mid-period Cure, Savage Republic, early (Death) Cult—with a loving dose of lysergic psychedelia (Syd Barrett and Roky Erickson are particular touchstones). Bassist Dino Paredes and guitarist Dallas Taylor coax entrancing drones and pulses from their instruments with judicious uses of echo and other effects, while shamanistic front man William Faircloth (a colorful immigrant from Britain's original '60s psychedelic movement) delves into Native American mysticism on Dancing to Restore an Eclipsed Moon with a grace and passion rarely seen before.” This 2-LP set was r eleased in the U.S. on Nate Starkman & Son in 1988. It comes in a gatefold cover and is the original pressing. The cover is in Ex+ and the records are in M- and M--- condition.
