According to the Trouser Press Guide to Records , “Los Angeles quartet Red Temple Spirits skillfully mix post-punk influences—mid-period Cure, Savage Republic, early (Death) Cult—with a loving dose of lysergic psychedelia (Syd Barrett and Roky Erickson are particular touchstones).
