"Red Wind". Raymond Chandler. World Publishing - Tower Books edition. Cleveland. 1946. 253 pages. Hardbound in publisher's original jacket. 1st edition, 1st printing (Thus) - stated. Black cloth with red titles and red decorations. [about] 8.25" X 5.5". The book is good(+) or some better - Some rubbing and wear with scattered light soiling and staining. Some shallow dents. Short diagonal nick to the cloth near the bottom of the spine panel. Corners bumped and rubbed at tips. Previous owner's bookplate at the bottom of the front paste-down with some bookseller's light (pencil) markings at the top of same page. Light staining to end-papers; otherwise, the interior is toned and clean with supple pages. No additional markings. Square. Tightly bound. The jacket is about good or somewhat better - Some rubbing and wear with some chipping and toning. Some separations at some of the folds with some paper losses. No clips.
