REDMOND O'HANLON: INTO THE HEART OF BORNEO FIRST UK HARBACK EDITION, FIRST IMPRESSION. Published 1984 by The Salamander Press Edinburgh, First edition. Octavo. pp [xii], 192. Photographs. The first of the author's travel books, based on a trip originally suggested by James Fenton who plays a leading role in the proceedings. Five years later O'Hanlon invited Fenton to accompany him on a journey up the Amazon. Fenton's reply has gone down in history: ''I want you to know that I would not come with you to High Wycombe'' In general a very nice copy. The dustwrapper has some very slight edgewear but is otherwise in good order. Boards clean and bright. Internally book clean. Binding tight and square, no inscriptions, stickers, loose or missing pages. The book advertised is the one in the photo.
