Superb Regency period English oil painting of a young lady with excellent features wearing a bonnet with flowers in her hair and an elegant ruff dress and red sash. The painting is on canvas and original stretcher with old label to the reverse. The painting does need cleaned to remove the layer of dust and grime that is hiding her true beauty. The line that you see across part of the painting seems to be a line in the varnish where something was propped against it whilst a layer of varnish was drying, other surface marks will need a retouching but its priced at a bargain. Size: - 25 inches wide by 31 inches high overall, - lovely classical size. Happy to post anywhere in the world, and any questions please do not hesitate to ask. The painting will have to be well wrapped to ensure no damage in transit, postage will be at cost in the region of £20 recorded delivery as the stretcher is first rate quality and on the heavy side to give good support to the canvas, plus £3 for packing.
