This topper looks like it is over 70 years old but I have no way of knowing.It is magnetic.I would not expect that someone would buy a replica topper and use it in such a way as to bend it and get it rusty.Look at the pictures and ask any questions because there is no returning it.Please understand that I do not have the knowledge to make a determination of its age.Having a choice between a WW II era date and a later reproduction I would take the WW I era.I cannot find any others exactly like this one on the internet.The last picture is a mirror image of the imprint on the back. I cannot guess what the imprint is.If it is from the WW II era the starting price is very good.
