DECEMBER 1941 REMEMBER PEARL HARBOR DECEMBER 1941 10 1/2" PLATE DEPICTING THE DESTRUCTION OF PEARL HARBOR. THE SKY IS FULL OF SMOKE AND PLANES COMING INTO BOMB THE SHIPS IN THE HARBOR, T ARE PLANES LEAVING THE SIGHT OF THE BOMBINGS. ONE BATTLESHIP IS STILL FIRING AWAY, AS IT SINKS INTO THE HARBOR. T ARE SUNKEN SHIPS, SAILORS IN THE WATER, AND SAILORS TRYING TO LEAVE THE WATER. The plate is signed at the bottom of the scene by MARGARET PEARSON JOYNER. Plate does have one small chip be the Statue of Liberty on the edge. ON TO VICTORY On the back of the plate is a short bio of Pearl Harbor and the battleship Arizona, in flames in the center of the picture, stuck to their guns as long as they could keep them firing.
