However, a little internet research revealed that the machete is a good quality reproduction - suitable for reenactment use or actual brush cutting.In the "Item Specifics" section, above, I have stated that the machete is made in the USA. They are not World War Two issue machetes.Interestingly, S.W.I. machetes were inserted into M.H. Coles book U. S.
