Replica US Military Machete 1943 "S.W.I.".Condition is "Used" - in good condition.I thought this was an original WWII machete and sheath - it looks to be of military quality and WWII vintage. However, a little internet research revealed that the machete is a good quality reproduction - suitable for reenactment use or actual brush cutting.In the "Item Specifics" section, above, I have stated that the machete is made in the USA. Although I am not positive, I believe this to be correct.Shipped by FedEx Ground or FedEx Home Delivery.(USA only.) Shipping cost is calculated based on shipping distance. They are not World War Two issue machetes.Interestingly, S.W.I. machetes were inserted into M.H. Coles book U. S. Military Knives Bayonets & Machetes and at that point were "legitimized" as genuine WWII collectibles.Nevertheless, it's a wonderful 18" blade measuring 23" in overall length and is an impressive and affordable machete with a WW2 connection.
