This auction is for a high-quality modern reprint of the vintage WWII flight manual entitled "Pilot Training Manual for the Skytrain C-47". Buyer to pay actual shipping costs. In the US, they will go by Media Mail for maybe $3. For foreign, it will be roughly $13 for USPS International First Class or Priority Flat Rate Envelope. Please check the postage calculator to be sure. These are not your grandmother's scans. Every page has been hand-corrected to remove as many blemishes as possible. Color correction with a known color standard sheet was used to get the colors as close to the original as possible. Special care was taken with the half-tone images to make sure all the depth and range of the originals is preserved. Manuals are printed on 24 lb paper and comb-bound with clear plastic front cover and black plastic back sheet. Please "Pilot Training Manual for the Skytrain C-47", Army Air Force Manual 51-129-2, 21 August 1945, 112 pages. This manual describes the great C-47 "Gooney Bird" transport. This was the workhorse of the WWII-era and for quite a while thereafter. This manual covers all aspects of the operation of the airplane from the pilot's point of view. Quite a bit of detail on the control console and the instruments is included.
