Up for auction is a like new to mint in box LionelPrewar Power Station produced by T-Reproductions. T-Reproductions made several Lionel Tinplate accessories in the mid 1980's. In the 1990's Lionel sued them because the quality was so good. Lionel successfully won the suit and T-Reproductions were forced to stop making this accessories. The quality of construction of these accessories far exceeds the quality of the new pieces being made today by both Lionel and MTH. This station was built in a very limited amount of units. The tin is heavy and the painting was far superior then the new issues. Comes with original box. The item was on display and is a little dusty and there is one scratch on the top that can be seen in the photos. All in all this is a great piece to add to your Lionel collections. The accessory will be shipped in the original heavy cardstock box. I can place that box in another box for an extra fee.
