Republic of China. Sun Yat-sen Birds over Junk Dollar ND (1932) MS64+ PCGS, L&M-108, Kann-622, KM-Y344. A sublime example of this highly-coveted type featuring the bust of Sun Yat-sen and junk dividing value with three sea gulls above. Both the obverse and reverse present gleaming mint luster that peeks through the attractively mottled, mauve-tinged surfaces and design elements that are razor sharp due to an exacting strike. An altogether well-preserved offering that pleases from all angles, and one that is absolutely coveted in this near-Gem quality. Sold with Wayte Raymond sales ticket. Grade: 64, Service: PCGS, Service No.: 193264
