Schreiner Rhinestone Brooch, Massive Brown High Domed Center Cabochon, Brown Oval Rhinestones, Yellow Rhinestone Baguettes and Chatons!This unsigned Schreiner brooch features a huge, high domed center cabochon of warm brown highest quality lucite in a sawtooth bezel setting. The cabochon has a gorgeously faceted edge, a luxury detail that is subtle but beautiful! Surrounding this are rings of brown oval rhinestones, then yellow rhinestone baguettes, then yellow rhinestone chatons. All are prong set in dark brown gunmetal. Though unsigned, there are distinct Schreiner tells: no pin stop, one-piece pin stem and pin hinge assembly, sawtooth bezel setting, correct conical settings for the chatons, correct pin catch and correct flat wire used as the edge the cabochon sits on. It is in excellent vintage condition and measures 1 7/8 inches.This piece is unforgettable and I have always felt very fortunate to own something so precious.
