Restored 1936 Airline 62-425 Table Radio Here’s an electronically restored 1936 Airline model 62-425 Superheterodyne tube radio, featuring a stunning Art Deco wood case, airplane-style dial, and 5 tube chassis. This will be a fine addition to any collection. The broadcast-band (AM) radio plays beautifully with no hum or distortion and excellent station reception all across the dial. The power cord, capacitors, filters, and dial lamp have all been replaced, and the radio has been aligned for maximum reception. All control functions are in fine shape and work as intended. The wood case was carefully stripped, stained and finished to fully accentuate this model's unique style and deco design elements. The veneer is all original, tight and intact, but in a couple 1” slivers along the top edge it has worn a bit thin over the years. The cabinet dimensions are 11"L x 7"H x 6"W.
