The barrel and cap have some micro scratches, the clip is firm with a ~1mm gap to the cap and both jewels are in good condition, all as shown in the photos. The Esterbrook inscription is crisp, as shown in the photos . NibThe nib is an Esterbrook Renew-Point 2556 "fine". This is a quality nib in very good condition with ample tipping material, as seen in the photo.Refurbishment Work The nib and cap have been s oft bristle brushed Nib and cap have been ultrasonically cleaned and flushed to remove as much residue as possible A new ink sac has been installed with 100% pure medical grade talcum power The pen has been water and ink tested - water and ink flow into the pen and can be expelled The pen has been buffed with a water-based micro polish This pen is ready for inkThis is a classic example of the Esterbrook J double jewel fountain pen.
