Up for auction is a beautiful vintage Sheaffer's 46 Special Fountain Pen. The pen's barrel has a weak Maker's Mark of: W.A. SHEAFFER PEN CO PAT AUG 25.08 FORT MADISON IA USA DEC 10.12-JAN 27-OCT 20-NOV24.14. This pen is approximately 5 5/16 inches long and a diameter at the opening of the pen cap of 1/2 inches. The nib is stamped: SHEAFFER'S 46 Special and cap has a gold clip, with SHEAFFERS written down the center and a gold cap band. The pen has been thoroughly disassembled, cleaned, re-sacked and restored. T are no cracks, scratches, or chips on the pen. This is a BEAUTIFUL old pen. USA buyers to pay shipping and handling at a fixed rate of $5.00. Foreign buyers to pay a fixed rate of $9.00. Insurance is at the buyers request and expense. I accept PayPal, money orders and personal checks (checks must clear prior to shipping. No checks accepted from foreign buyers).
