BEAUTIFUL Retro Bakelite 1951 General Electric GE 512-F Tube Clock Radio Swirled DIMENSIONS: Approximately 11" x 5" x 6.5" (l x w x h) COLOR: Brown swirl-y Bakelite DESCRIPTION: Tabletop Tube AM clock radio with alarm and snooze manufactured by General Electric in 1950-51 excellent+ working condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Cabinet is in pristine condition with no cracks, splits, or seams, abrasions, major scratches or missing pieces. The front bezel is swirled Bakelite no dents or dings. This radio is over 60 years old! No dial light not designed with one. The clock keeps accurate time. The alarm works. All the dial numbers are crisp and clear. There are no cracks on the top. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The dial face ius a little oxidized at the bottom. Original knobs are ivory in color. The tuning dial works fine. The orginal back board is in good condition with two screw mounts and two t-clips. It is securely attached. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 60+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine.
