Retired in 1938, the Richmond Fredericksburg & Potomac Railroad's number 22 was a workhorse steam locomotive, according to Prince's book on the RF&P. It was built by Baldwin in 1912. This solid brass number plate was carried on the side of the cab and is in very fine condition. It weighs 30 pounds, measures 13 by 23 inches and 1/2 inch thick at the edge! It is ready for your polishing, and or painting and displaying.
