Original Indian Wars era button for the Rhode Island State Guard. Two piece metal construction, high convex, measures approximately 7/8" in diameter. Reverse appears to be made of tin and FAINTLY marked with "Goodwin's Pat July 27 1875." No wear but shows the effects of age with black spots and light corrosion overall.
